Sioux Falls - Lawrence F. Dries, age 64, died at his home in Sioux Falls of cancer on March 22, 2004. He is survived by his son, Scott of Sioux Falls and Angie Winders; his granddaughter; 5 brothers, Dennis and Mike of Sioux Falls, Daryl of Jonestown, TX, Gary of Costa Mesa, CA, Danny of New York City; and three sisters, Sybella Reiners of Yonkers, NY, Madonna Christensen of Sarasota, FL, and Shirley Fitterer of Bloomington, MN. Brothers Joe, Vince, Donald, David and sisters Norma and Delores preceeded him in death.
Larry returned to Sioux Falls in July, 2003, after many years in Santa Monica, CA, and enjoyed spending time on the golf course with Scott, critiquing Scott's golf game. Larry served in the Air Force and was formerly employed by the Argus Leader. Services are pending.
